Kathy Laurini
ADVISORY COUNCIL
Ms. Laurini is President of Osare Space Consulting Group. Osare Space was created to advance human space exploration by providing strategy and planning services to clients around the world. One key activity is support to Dynetics in advancing the design and commercialization of their human and large cargo lunar landers.
Ms. Laurini spent over 35 years working for NASA in various technical, program management and strategy roles. She was a leader in development of NASA’s human space exploration strategy, now known as the Artemis Program. She served in leadership positions within the Space Shuttle and International Space Station (ISS) programs with leadership roles in operations, system engineering and integration, payload integration and on-orbit operations management. She was Associate Program Manager for the Constellation Programs, as well as Project Manager for the Altair human lunar lander. She served as Deputy Director for Human Health and Performance and started the NASA Human Research Program, which she managed for its first 2 years.
Ms. Laurini has extensive experience working with NASA’s international partners on human spaceflight development and operational programs, including more than 15 years spent living and working in Europe. Ms. Laurini received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
